All the brands we work with are cruelty-free – meaning they do not subject products or ingredients to animal testing.
We may work with brands using animal derived product – e.g. ethically sourced wool, or beeswax – but strive to work with compassionate brands that love animals like we do!
We also aim to work with brands who are sustainable, eco-friendly or produce their product with minimal impact to the planet.
Sustainability is a difficult goal to measure, and we need to recognise that not all of the brands we work with are carbon neutral or 100% sustainable. We are passionate about working with people who have genuine concern for our planet and are taking steps (big or small) to minimise their business’s impact.
To us, in its various forms this could mean working with brands who are local; organic; providing made-to-last products; using bio-degradable materials; contributing to eco-friendly initiatives; or promoting re-usable textiles.
We will always encourage our clients to be as transparent as possible about their practices and to avoid green labelling.
Respecting humans, animals and planet from origin throughout the supply-chain is important to us. We look for transparent and responsible supply chains from our clients.
For us at Yuu – ‘For Good’ is a lifestyle we live by inside and outside of the studio. It’s about being intentional with the products we use and the product we deliver to our clients – always striving for timelessness and high quality.
Beyond this – we treat clients, co-workers and suppliers with respect, kindness and integrity and ask for the same in return.
We are 1% for the Planet Members, contributing 1% of our turnover to environmental partners and initiatives.
Our productions are carried out to minimize impact as much as possible - staying digital, reducing carbon emissions by using public transport and local teams, using suppliers committed to the environment, relying on re-cycled and hired props and styling.
